My Reflections as Session Leader

It was my special privilege to be the session leader at Guinan's over the years. I want to thank all the musicians who came here to share their musical talents with us, and also the people who supported our efforts to "Keep the Tradition Alive".
Let us remember at the closing of Guinan's those who have passed on to a better place. We remember with fondness Billy Viletto Jr, Jim Coogan and Jim O'Brien who shared their songs, stories and musical talents with us.
I want to thank Jim and his family who were so gracious to us over the years, and provided a special place where we could share our music. I am proud to be a part of Guinan's extended family.
A special thanks to Wendy who captured the "soul" of this place and let the world in on our special place where everyone was made to feel welcome, to the photographers who took such great pictures which we can share, and to my friend "Jersey" Brian Merdler who recorded the last three sessions, and is making them available for free to anyone who requests them.
There are many sessions around the area but the "Rising of the Moon" will always have a special place in my heart, and hopefully yours as well.
